Throughout this semester we have read a selection of non fiction. Out of all the non fiction readings my personal favorite was the one we did on October 6 entitled "Birth Order and Sibling Competition." I found this one to be very interesting. I kept wanting to read more and more , and for once i wasn't being put to sleep. Frank J. Sulloway style of writing was an easy read. He points out all the differences among birth order and what distinguishes each. Sulloway make sit clear that birth order can explain a lot about one self. He helps in explaining why siblings are so different. I'm a middle child in my family , and some things he said about being a middle child I disagree on. He talks about middle children being agreeable but thats so definitely not true in my case. I am a very difficult child to please, and i always have a different opinion. I am not easy to get along with. i'm very rebelious and different from my older sister and younger brother. I do agree that middleborns are different from siblings. Frank J. Sulloway really made some oustanding points throughout his writing."Sibling competion is widespread in the natural world, and sometimes ends in siblicide."
